The research centre ARPS (Accounting Research Public Sector) is a collaboration between Ghent University and EY that conducts scientific research into the evolution in the style of corporate management and accounting. ARPS aims at performing scientific research that is of the highest quality and relevant on an (inter)national level, in the public and not-for-profit sector. It is typical for the scientific activity conducted by the ARPS to strive for a synthesis between fundamental and empirical research on the one hand, and policy oriented and practical research on the other hand.
