On 3 March 2016, the winning teams of the Innoversity Challenge were announced. Next academic year, they will transform their ideas into pilot projects.
The project “Gamified learning” (Jeroen Neckebrouck, Elke Minnaert, Evelien Opdecam and Patricia Everaert) is one of four winning teams.
‘We want to develop a mobile game that helps students to assess their existing knowledge of a specific course while challenging others in a competitive and stimulating environment. Our game enhances the engagement of students without placing an extra burden on the teaching staff. Also, everyone gets feedback on their learning process in a pleasant way.’
