BIBF awards 2017: third price for student Pieter De Corte

The BIBF (Belgian Institute of Bookkeepers and Tax Experts) promotes academic research on accounting and tax related issues.  Each year three awards are provided to master theses of students, graduated in the economic field.   The master theses are evaluated by experts in the area and a jury of academics and finance professionals.

BIBF awards 2017Pieter De Corte (student TEW, Accountancy) received the third price with his master thesis “Investeren in hybride wagens: economische en fiscale analyse” under supervision of promotor Prof. Dr. Patricia Everaert.  Pieter is left on the picture.
The first price went to the Natacha Chenot and Els Matthys, also students from our Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (HW), with their thesis. “Artikel 918 B.W. mogelijkheden en gevaren”.  The supervisors were Prof. Dr. Bertel De Groote and Sarah Van Bree.
